Notecard Confessional

 My Quotes in order:

1.  "Because it is so easy, we may be discouraged from reflective, analytic thinking about sources, content, and credibility" (Hobbs, 2011 p. 43).

2.  "Such a school would obviously be problem-centered and future-centered and change-centered, and as such, would be a an instrument of cultural and political radicalism" (Hobbs, 2011 p. 36).

3.  "However, Alvermann and her colleagues point out that youth are ready and willing to talk with adults about popular culture if adults show a willingness to learn" (Hobbs, 2011 p. 33).

Jamie,
I loved that you developed a bit of a theme for your video with your background and your music choice! I also appreciated that you highlighted certain words or ideas on your note cards by underlining and pointing them out.

Notecard confessions in a classroom setting provide unique student interpretations; ideas that resonated enough that the student felt compelled to share.

Jamie,
Great work! I really like the read along and underlined words to really drive your points. The music was very space "esque" and it was pure genuis to do this in front of the company logo.

Your selected reading highlights were excellent choices to reflect the content and essence of the chapter.

Jamie, I love that you did your note card confession with the NASA sign as the background. The music you chose went along with it! I also love the last quote that you used. I feel that as educators it is very important that we listen and are willing to learn from our students.

I agree with many of the other comments, your theme really did work. Your smile is also a wonderful addition to the powerful quotes you used, and I feel that it adds a little additional personality to your overall message. Wonderfully done!
